Diorama Description
This diorama was presented at the 10th Annual Southwest Military Transportation Show at Falcon Field in Mesa, AZ. The diorama depicts the calm before the storm as German soldiers relax and prepare to have something to eat while British paratroopers lurk in the buildings ready to surprise their resting enemy. The period for this diorama would be late 1944 during Operation Market Garden in the city of Arnhem in the Netherlands.
